Senior Manager - CPQ, GTM Business Systems

The Go To Market Systems organization is responsible for the selection, architecture, governance and administration of all SaaS applications and data sets that power our Go To Market teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Growth and Customer Support).

We’re looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager to lead our CPQ team, owning all systems for our Quote to Cash Systems and Processes Portfolio.

We have a modern CPQ Systems stack that includes: Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud, Conga, IronClad, Docusign, Custom Billing system, Zuora billing,  NetSuite financials.

In this role you will:

• Partner with leaders from our Sales Ops, Deals Desk, Billing Ops, Pricing & Packaging and Engineering team to design and evolve our Quote-to-Cash systems architecture
• Hire, grow and manage senior CPQ architect, business systems analyst and systems administrator, creating and nurturing a high-performing, highly supportive team environment to build this architecture
• Lead the efforts to streamline Sales pipeline execution by eliminating friction in Quote and order management processes and operations
• Help run the Quote to Cash steering Committee and own the CPQ project backlog and prioritization for features, bugs, etc.
• Partner with other team leaders within GTM Business Systems and outside (Solutions, Platform, Finance Systems, R&D Engg, IT, Data Engg, analytics) to recommend and implement best-practice CPQ processes, architectures, and integrations that optimize adoption, usability, and operations.
• Hire and manage relevant external consultants as the need arises

The ideal candidate will have a combination of:

• Functional or Technical experience in full-lifecycle CPQ projects, with strong implementation expertise in the following technologies: Salesforce CPQ, Conga, IronClad, Docusign
• Passion in supporting the adoption and value of the Intercom Salesforce CPQ ecosystem
• Deep understanding of the Opportunity-To-Cash business process and supporting technology for a self serve PLG SaaS company
• excellent program, project and operations management skills
• excellent people management and team building skills
• a proven track record of creating and executing strategies and roadmaps that enable their team to scale and excel while also being able to manage needs of fast growing stakeholder organizations

• Work with peer leaders to establish your team’s annual strategy and quarterly roadmaps that drive automation and scale to support the company's growth aspirations.
• Drive the technical strategy and operations of our CPQ systems portfolio
• Manage, mentor and recruit for the GTM Applications team and nurture the team to sustainable, enjoyable levels of high performance
• Facilitate a culture of innovation through new software, systems and programs
• Create and update policies, standards and procedures
• Be able to act as a stand-in PM or Solutions Architect for the team as needed

• Several years of experience successfully operating in a similar role
• Experience with Salesforce.com Sales, Contracts, Subscriptions, Orders and CPQ Modules
• Deep understanding of CPQ Product Bundles, Product Rules, Price Rules, CPQ Calculator, Advanced Approvals
• Exposure to Zuora billing and NetSuite is a plus
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills and proven ability to drive positive outcomes through teamwork and influence
• Excellent, proven people management skills and experience

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
