What You Will Be Doing

Become part of the excitement, join the ChargePoint team as we build the future. In this role, you will be responsible for driving programs to ensure successful scaling of our Customer Solutions organization.  Our Customer Solutions organization is a team of professionals that works with our customers, partners, and sales team to provide technical guidance, RFP response support, deployment consultation and overall support for implementing charging solutions. With ChargePoint’s unprecedented growth rate of 2X per year, you will be responsible for creating programs and leading efforts to train our customer solutions organization, defining and driving training programs, curating our library of proposal content, tracking proposal commitments, and creating added value from competitive intelligence coming from the field.  You will work cross functionally with various teams within ChargePoint including sales enablement, product management, operations, and finance to ensure we are meeting the needs of the field and effectively communicating within the organization.  Candidate will be personable, articulate and detail-oriented with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Travel requirement: Less than 20% within the United States and Canada. 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • A thorough knowledge of the electric vehicle charging space, business models, and the competitive environment
  • A customer centric approach to positioning solutions and value proposition
  • Ability to assess current training assets, identify gaps and work cross functionally with our sales enablement, technical sales, and product management teams to create new programs
  • You are a cross-functional thinker who enjoys learning as much as you can about a particular subject, market, or product
  • You are not satisfied with just a surface knowledge of any product or service - your drive and curiosity compel you to dig deep under the surface to find nuances, differences, and advantages
  • You are skilled at formulating questions, listening to responses, processing information, and asking probing follow-up questions before jumping to another topic
  • You are strong at analyzing vast amounts of information, organizing into categories, identifying patterns and gaps, and summarizing the information to others via written and verbal means
  • You are self-motivated and able to effectively manage your time
  • You are a quick learner and able to develop product expertise to convey value, benefits, and differences
  • You have the skill to put information in a detailed, logical, high-quality reports but can reduce complex concepts into a simple story
  • A passion to electrify transportation
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in technical sales, consulting, or other relevant role in EV charging or a technology field (e.g., IT, telecommunications, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technology solutions other stakeholders, gain alignment, and drive progress
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • You have experience creating technical documentation and training materials
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with competing priorities
  • Experience in CRM and database management
