We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Cyber Protection function within our cybersecurity team. This role reports directly to the CISO and part of the Cyber Leadership team, and is responsible for overseeing multiple critical security domains, including Application Security, Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, End User Computing, and Network Security. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s technology and data assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture.Sound good? Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Leadership and Strategy: Lead the Cyber Protection function, aligning it with organizational goals, mentoring the security team, and staying updated on emerging threats.

• Application Security: Oversee application security, integrating secure development practices and managing security testing and vulnerability remediation efforts.

• Cloud Security: Develop and implement cloud security strategies, ensuring robust controls, compliance, and regular assessments of cloud environments.

• Vulnerability Management: Manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring timely identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities across all systems.

• Data Protection: Lead data protection initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing encryption, DLP, and other protective technologies.

• End User Computing Security: Oversee security for end-user devices, including endpoint protection, and secure configurations for remote work and BYOD.

• Network Security: Implement and maintain network security protocols, ensuring continuous monitoring and enhancing network architecture for improved security.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in cyber security, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

• Expertise in one or more of the following domains: Application Security, Cloud Security, or Vulnerability Management.

• Strong working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS18, ISO 27001, and privacy/regulatory standards

• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, encryption, and cloud security platforms.
