Senior Manager, Data Analytics
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Analytics to act as key contact point to collaborate closely with key stakeholders in IT and the broader Labcorp organization.
I. Job Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Data Analytics in the Real World Data department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering data analytics based on the diagnostic and CTTS data sets to both internal and external clients. Your role encompasses client liaison, proposal and cost development, data pulls and analysis, as well as the creation and presentation of the final client deliverable.
Furthermore, you will play a critical role in shaping the roadmap for Real World Data (RWD) product and capability development. This involves identifying internal and external data or technologies that enhance the value of Labcorp data assets, such as enhanced analytics, combination of internal data sets, addition of external data, visualizations, and commercial models.
II. Essential Job Duties:
- Analyze, interpret, and present internal and external data in accordance with client and internal team requests.
- Engage in client liaison, cost and proposal development, and present final reports, maintaining ongoing client interaction for products based on internal and external data.
- Stay abreast of the external landscape as it pertains to data and technology for clinical trial use cases.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal data tools and products for greater value to internal and external customers in clinical trial and other use cases.
- Lead process improvement and tool development initiatives.
III. Principal Contacts and Scope of Communications:
- Daily interaction with IT and Sales, as well as other commercial teams.
- Communication with clients as needed.
IV. Expected Travel Requirements:
- Travel time: 10-20% annually.
- Travel primarily to: Domestic US, UK/Europe for conferences, training meetings, other Labcorp offices, client meetings, and commercial meetings.
V. Experience: Minimum Required:
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience within pharma/biotech or CRO industries.
- Practical experience and understanding of global drug development and clinical trials, including demonstrated experience in mining, manipulating, and presenting complex scientific data related to clinical research.
- Strong data mining and analytical skills.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
- Experience driving and leading process improvement.
- Excellent computer skills, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other data capture and compilation tools.
VI. Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses: Minimum Required:
- Bachelor of Science or Science-related degree from a recognized University/College.
