ClickUp is looking for an exceptional data science leader to own data science exploration and model building at ClickUp. You are an experienced technical leader in leveraging data science and machine learning to create operational efficiencies and drive ROI for a high growth technology company. You thrive when leading a team that collaborates as a community and is distributed across the globe. You are comfortable scaling people, technical capabilities, and processes of a team.

The Role

• Lead a team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and data program managers to deliver operational ML models for marketing, sales, support, product, and engineering stakeholders
• Lead the design and implementation of Machine Learning solutions for ClickUp’s operational and product challenges.
• Manage the insights and growth experimentation product analytics team to uncover product insights and growth levers for product managers
• Build Machine Learning models from millions of accounts stored in a Snowflake data warehouse, validate these models, and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Deploy and operationalize models into a production data pipeline and operational systems
• Participate in the full ML development cycle: design/experiment, develop, validate, deploy, and analyze.
• Lead the prioritization and ROI analysis strategy for model and data science projects across multiple departmental stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with machine learning and data science techniques (supervised & unsupervised learning, hypotheses testing, tree-based models, clustering, feature engineering, etc.) and architectures/methodologies (Jupyter notebooks, SageMaker, AWS/GCP, Kubeflow, MLflow, Python, R, etc.)
• 2+ years experience as a leader managing multiple teams
• Experience with scaling of a data organization by hiring and retaining exceptional talent
• Leaders who have seen scale with Product Led Growth companies is a plus!
• You are passionate about data, are comfortable generating hypotheses and insights from it, and clearly explaining those insights to executive leaders
• Experience coordinating a production model through the entire lifecycle of scoping, data exploration, development, training, validation, deployment, retraining.
• 1+ year experience with operational business model development (examples include conversion/churn prediction, lead scoring, marketing attribution, forecasting, time series modeling, customer lifetime value, customer health scoring, etc.)
• You are knowledgeable with SQL and data warehouse architecture
