About the role
We’re looking for an experienced professional to help JOLT bring to life our ambitious growth objectives by leading our data, strategy and audience intelligence requirements across the business. This person will steer and implement the strategy for JOLT’s data and insights needs for a variety of business requirements, including JOLT’s first-party customer data, data engineering/technology, advertising sales audience intelligence/strategy and commercial tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consultation, strategy and management of JOLT’s unique first-party data across the business, leveraging data at the forefront of JOLT’s market positioning to drive business growth.
- Lead JOLT’s data engineering and technology strategy, including the design and implementation of data infrastructure and architecture to support data requirements, governance, document data warehouse architecture, data models, and processes
- Management of JOLT’s EV charging customer data requirements, including customer experience, behaviour, and engagement analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Design and implementation of a strategy to drive the growth of JOLT’s out-of-home and in-app advertising proposition, including JOLT’s audience intelligence/research ecosystem, DMP / audience manager, creation and market presentation of go-to-market collateral.
- Support commercial team providing data-led insights and analysis for input into commercial recommendations and tenders
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally, including data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand and effectively communicate data requirements and deliver solutions to create business growth.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree (In Business, Business Analytics, Data Science or Statistics with a strong commercial acumen, or similar)
- 8 years / + experience in data strategy, data innovation, marketing data, customer strategy, data analysis, audience insights/intelligence
- Strong business and commercial acumen and demonstrated history of success
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - you will be engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and clients
- Ability to distill and communicate complex information and storytelling using data
- Proactivity and initiative, a strong problem solver with an ability to work autonomously and thrive in an often ambiguous, start-up environment
- You will have the desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems in an agile, fast-paced environment with a hands-on culture to get the job done
- A passion for green energy and the electrification of transport
- Ability to travel for work when required
