Senior Manager, Demand Planning

About You:

The Senior Manager, Demand Planning will be responsible for development and execution of a SKU-Driven, end-to-end forecast based on multiple sales channels, managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner to support our overall company goals. This role will proactively analyze and interpret information for planning systems and determine if the process is in control and accurate while meeting customer demands. They will make day-to-day decisions that demonstrate a basic understanding of the financial business drivers and will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, overseeing one associate.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute annual forecasts by sku, by channel, and by retailer 
• Master Planning and Scheduling for all products at multiple manufacturing facilities 
• Ongoing maintenance of annual forecasts 
• Accountable for the accuracy and impact of planning decisions and inventory management 
• Analyze and interpret SKU effectiveness and efficiency, guide SKU rationalization
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
• Establish effective supportive relationships with Sales, Ops, Vendors, Finance and Product Development Teams
• Develop Forecast Models based on industry trends, demand patterns and company goals 
• Effectively plan manufacturing resources and diagnose problems to minimize interruptions to production 
• Responsible for the master production schedule, and weekly reconciliation of products produced 
• Partner with finance to monitor our capital planning & purchasing model with a focus to drive improvements with forecasting
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure supply chain operations are on track to meet our master demand plan 
• Create ad hoc reports as requested
• First 18 months in position will require your leadership in testing and onboarding demand systems to support business 

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or business-related discipline
• 7-10 years of related experience
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience
• Exceptional communication, follow through, leadership and organizational skills
• Experience with multi-site manufacturing planning 
• Excellent understanding of supply chain operations and systems
• Experience with inventory management practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Exceptional excel/sheets skills

Preferred:

• Strong supply chain experience
• Has managed a supply chain and is familiar with all associated activities (sourcing, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, planning, and project management). 
• Has worked at growth companies or larger corporations
