Job Description

Senior managers serve as day-to-day digital lead and a primary client contact on up to four accounts; they may also serve as day-to-day account lead. This role works with their teams to consistently implement social media and digital strategies and integrated campaigns that drive results. They have excellent organic and paid social media and digital marketing skills and are able to develop and execute cross-channel digital strategies incorporating organic social, paid social, and digital tactics to meet and exceed client objectives and goals, as well as considering the entire integrated marketing ecosystem within their plans. They coach and oversee junior team members on campaign execution, editorial calendar management, moderation, engagement, and reporting. The senior manager hones client service skills and strategic planning expertise in this position, working closely with director and VP teammates and mentors. They ensure materials are client ready and apply thoughtful analysis to data-driven measurement reports. They practice INK's motto of "be there before," staying ahead of industry and digital trends, staying up to date on platform features and changes, anticipating client needs and opportunities, and sharing their insights generously with their teams and clients. They embody INK values and culture and are committed to employee development, managing 2-3 INKers through day-to-day coaching, regular check-ins, and performance reviews. They may be part of the client services (CS) and media relations teams and will report to, advise, and be coached by INK's Director and/or VP level executives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-time social media and/or digital experience, agency setting preferred
  • Paid social media strategy and execution experience required, other digital advertising experience preferred (including but not limited to PPC, display, native, and direct media buying, either through native platforms or DSP)
  • Experience in B2B, tech, and/or renewable energy
  • Strong client relations skills and intuition
  • Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities
  • Exposure and interest in managing and coaching
  • Ability to learn and understand client industries and complex, technical topics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
