About this role:

Carrier is a world leading technology company in the field of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions. We are hiring a talented Digital Technology Product Owner to join the Commercial HVAC division of Carrier's North America DT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business and extended DT team in defining and executing solutions across the North America's back-office and operations digital ecosystem.

Leads large team of experienced Digital Product Management professionals or team leaders. Defines a cost allocation, cost recovery and pricing plan within the overall context of the digital chargeback or pricing model

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, evaluate, propose DT solutions to simplify and standardize back-office ERP operation processes, enhance customer & employee experiences, drive revenue growth, margin expansion, digital innovation and mitigate compliance and cybersecurity risks
  • Assist in design and oversee business end to end processes (Inquiry to Order, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce) across several applications encompassing engineering specific systems, SFDC, Service systems, ERPs, and analytics platforms
  • Work closely with DT professionals and Center of Excellence teams within the company to ensure alignment on solution, standards, resources, budget for project execution as well as achieving operational excellence.
  • Assess data quality improvement opportunities; organize, prioritize, and lead initiatives to mistake proof and remediate ERP data issues
  • Partner with COE teams for ERP project executions, provide input on regional solution/process gaps
  • Manage suppliers in terms of service level fulfillment, development, deployment and operation support; consolidate support metrics into a single view for tracking and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership
  • Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, solution implementation and maintain the full life cycle of the EPR applications (digital products)
  • Support the business by resolving escalated technology related operational issues associated with ERP and surrounding systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience with IT Management which involved project planning, resource allocation, change management, and operations
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP-ERP implementation or solution management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher
  • Proven track record in successfully implementing ERP, FSM systems in the manufacturing industry offering complex configurable products. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in major ERP (SAP) and its core modules, FICO, CS, PP, MM, WMS, PS, QM. Proven experience in management of outsourced vendors during project implementation, system integration and support
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical as well as problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals. Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a team player
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and project management skills such as agile methodology
  • Ability to handle several projects at a given time
