Sr Mgr Digital Technical Owner is a product visionary who ensures teams are utilizing investments to drive growth and efficiency. The Sr Mgr leads a team for a greater capability, ensuring alignment and consistency in product management. The DTO should be deeply familiar with agile processes and product management in both theory and in practice. The incumbent sets operational objectives for the Product team, guiding them through complex problem solving to ensure best outcomes against product deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Guide Global Digital Investments based on HR industry and market trends and needs
  • Know industry best practices, solutions, and emerging trends; lead the organization in that direction regardless of organizational boundaries
  • Partner to identify and communicate the product growth strategy and develop positioning for the product
  • Collaboratively develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures
  • Works closely with stakeholders to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Identify and onboard key talent and empower and fuel teams to realize their full potential
  • Problems faced are difficult and may be complex in nature
  • Ensures Agile and Scrum practices are followed by direct reports
  • Possesses broad business knowledge and has applied experience in product issue analysis and problem solving
  • Communicates at all levels of the organization
  • Provides input on hiring and team development
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate- or short-term operational results of the department.
  • Typically does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g., overtime for staff).

Qualifications
  • BS/BA or Masters in business administration preferred
  • 5+ years product owner experience
  • 7+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process
  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Knowledge of SAP (SuccessFactors) solutions covering one or more HR processes: Employee/Personnel Administration (employee master), Organization Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Succession, Compensation Management, Benefits Administration, Time and Attendance, Learning Management; experience in SuccessFactors required.
  • Ability to facilitate and contribute to vision and roadmap for global HR technology capabilities including collaboration with senior executive leaders
  • Experience with key integration areas between SAP HCM/SuccessFactors to S/4HANA; experience integrating SAP with external payroll processing, applicant tracking, learning management, performance management a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of standard SAP localizations in HR supporting global deployments
  • Skill in building strong internal relationships with HR and business leaders to define and understand strategic and tactical objectives
