As a leader in the Finance team, you will work directly with the CFO and executive team on financial planning and be deeply involved in key strategic topics (fundraising, M&A, and board communications). You will be a critical contributor to major decisions made across the company. You are analytical and data-driven with a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail. You are a strong, clear communicator and comfortable interacting and building working relationships with colleagues across levels and departments across Goldbelly. This position will report to the CFO.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage, refine and continuously improve a company-wide financial planning / forecasting process
• Distill financial results and analyze actual vs. budget performance to prepare insightful dashboards / reports for Leadership team + board + investors 
• Look around corners and perform ad hoc scenario analysis for decision making
• Collaborate with company and functional leaders to analyze complex business opportunities and provide a sound financial perspective
• Work closely with CFO to grow coordination between the finance team & operating functions, and make financial planning a company-wide exercise
• Support the Leadership team on key strategic topics (M&A due diligence, fundraising etc.)
• Path to growing and managing a broader FP&A team through hiring of direct reports 
• Continue developing the finance function as a center of excellence in the organization

We’re Looking for Someone with:

• 4-8 years of relevant industry experience in investment banking, strategy consulting and/or private equity
• Direct experience in corporate financial planning and/or e-commerce marketplaces is a plus
• Uncompromising attention to detail; knowledge of advanced excel functionality to build & audit models and to train/mentor a team on this task 
• A do-er (willing to roll up sleeves when necessary) and strategic thinker (able to take a big picture view when necessary)
• Team player able to build strong, collaborative relationships across the company
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
• Strong personal integrity and work ethic
• This is an NYC based position
