The Senior Manager - Employer Brand Strategy joins a passionate and tenured group of brand strategists and marketers on the Global Advertising & Brand Management team responsible for the development and implementation of our enterprise brand strategy that provides a north star for all we do. In this role, you'll lead the ongoing refinement and activation of our employer brand strategy - working to bring what it means to be with #TeamAmex to life to attract and retain best-in-class talent. The role involves a mix of strategic and creative thought leadership, creative development and execution, and overall partner, agency, and project management. Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing refinement and amplification of American Express' employer brand strategy, partnering across the Company with key partners in our Colleague Experience Group, Recruitment Marketing and Corporate Communications teams, to drive consideration and demand for Amex as an ideal employer
- Develop and execute a test-and-learn employer brand social media campaign, working with our external social and media agencies and collaborating with our internal social and recruitment marketing teams to align on both strategic and creative approach
- Lead the build-out of our employer brand image library, partnering with internal stakeholders to define imagery needs and working with our external agency on custom photoshoots
- Own the ongoing management of our employer brand insights and scorecard
- Support the evolution of our employer brand visual identity and guidelines in partnership with key internal stakeholders and our in-house creative agency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of marketing and/or brand strategy experience, including social media and content marketing experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Proven content and brand marketing skills, including delivering strategic recommendations and creative development
- Strong record of driving results and innovation with an eye for creative excellence
- Confident, strong communicator and storyteller that questions the status quo, with ability to socialize ideas and influence others to think differently
- Experience building relationships across large cross-functional teams and managing agency partners
- Able to work independently while also fostering strong team collaboration - many of our projects involve white space and require coming up with new approaches without the benefit of past work to draw from
- Demonstrated curiosity for industry and category trends
- Experience in employer brand and/or recruitment marketing a plus
- Agency experience a plus
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
