Who are we hiring?

The Senior Manager will be responsible for all FP&A functions supporting/overseeing Sphere Corporate Events and Marketing and provide support on Experiences and Premium Hospitality.Β  Responsibilities include preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and long-range plan. Through deep understanding of the financial implications of business decisions, the Senior Manager will partner with Senior Director and business leadership to help identify revenue growth/expense savings opportunities and operational improvements/efficiencies.


What will you do?

  • Oversight of Sphere Corporate Events P&L, including license fees, revenue and expenses associated with content creation and food & beverage, and building expenses
  • Oversight of all Marketing related financials and analysis of marketing spend performance
  • Support planning and decision-making for Sales & Service leadership, including financially modeling event calendar scenarios for Experiences and Corporate Events
  • Support Senior Director on Sphere Experiences where needed
  • Lead Sphere Experiences labor reporting
  • Oversight of non-labor overhead expenses for Sales & Service and Marketing groups
  • Ownership of regular dashboard reporting for Sphere senior management on all financials related to Private/Group Events, Corporate Events, and Marketing
  • Collaboration with Senior Director and Data & Analytics team to continually enhance reporting processes and overall operations
  • Assist Senior Director with providing due diligence & advice around any new business opportunities/growth initiatives for Private/Group Events, Corporate Events, and Marketing
  • Special projects including but not limited to Goals, Strategies & Tactics, supporting month-end close procedures, and MD&A commentary/variance support.


What do you need to succeed?

  • BS, BA or related degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, experience in Oracle & Hyperion desired but not required
  • 7+ years of work experience ideally within the live entertainment and/or theatrical industry
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing business needs; can take direction and incorporate feedback from senior management and key stakeholders. Effective working in matrixed environment.
  • Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment

Pay Range

$118,000β€”$150,000 USD
