Job Description:
What You'll Do

  • Lead the Payment Services - International Markets Finance Analytics team where you will work closely with relationship managers across the globe to evaluate strategic opportunities with leading financial institutions and emerging FinTech's.
  • Develop and coach a team of analysts to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manage risk within the team you oversee.
  • The right candidate will have a track record of influencing investment decision making, developing financial strategies through white space thinking and relationship building, and possessing a strong bias for action.


How You'll Do It

  • Provide leadership with strategic advice and financial analyses for investment decisions, new and existing partnerships, and channel expansion.
  • Collaborate with global business partners (e.g., business development, regional leadership) to develop financial projections and evaluate profitability analyses, incentive structures, and investment trade-offs in support of commercial deal flow and partner negotiations.
  • Ensure final incentive contracts align with approved parameters.
  • Own the development and enhancement of financial models and related frameworks aimed at understanding long-term profit and loss impacts and driving business decisions.
  • Monitor and assess the return on financial investments. Lead an analytical approach to proactively develop insightful financial analyses.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to drive simplification within the team and across the business.
  • Perform competitive analyses to drive strategic and actionable insights.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial analysts to lead and execute the above activities while meeting key timelines.
  • Continually improve and streamline standard work processes.
  • Participate in strong risk management culture including ensuring governance and controls are adhered to.
  • Drive expense efficiency initiatives by understanding business economics and effectively leading and influencing business technology team.
  • Develop and lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, short- and long-term forecasting, and expense driver analysis.
  • Conduct variance analysis and consolidation activities.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in people management


Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Master's degree in finance, business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in people management

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
