Responsibilities

Working within the internal Finance team, theSenior Manager Finance Operations is responsible for leading finance operational teams, including but not limited to oversight over Expense Management and the Corporate Credit Card program. The position involves data analysis, strategic recommendations to leadership, and project management of various Finance operational tasks and initiatives. Responsibilities include the management and monitoring of expense policies and corporate spend trends, vendor relationship management, talent coaching and development, providing reports to firm management as needed, and liaising between other functional groups in the firm including Payroll, Financial Reporting, People Solutions, Enterprise Technology, etc.

The Senior Manager Finance Operations understands and advocates for continuous improvement, and embraces change management with specific processes and tools, all in support of a growing and dynamic organization.

You will have the opportunity to:

Lead and manage Finance operational team(s).β€’ Oversee and develop team through coaching, training and team building activities.β€’ Maintain exceptional levels of internal customer service by directing team in training, communications, and prioritization.β€’ Implement and maintain process controls to ensure high level of accuracy and integrity of data.β€’ Liaison with senior leadership to understand changing firm needs and make recommendations for accomplishing strategic goalsβ€’ Manage development and execution of team-specific goals and initiatives

Data Modeling and Analysis β€’ Utilize high level of Excel and other business intelligence modeling tools technical knowledge to combine and analyze data from different systems.β€’ Analyze and monitor trends and compliance and identify opportunities for enhancement.β€’ Develop dashboards and reports to monitor and maintain adherence to policies and processes.β€’ Develop actionable dashboards and reports for firm leadership.

Work efficiently with other team members (within Finance team and with other functional groups in the firm) and represent functional team(s) in broader initiatives.β€’ Collaborate with team members in support of firm initiatives and/or working group objectives.β€’ Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, and elevate critical items to immediate supervisor.β€’ Gain in-depth understanding of finance systems and interactions to mitigate disruption in functionality through change initiatives.β€’ Communicates efficiently (verbally and in writing) with all stakeholders involved.β€’ Provides recommendations for operational improvement to immediate supervisor, supported by sound analytical evidence. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates will have:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years financial and/or operations experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managing an expense management team and/or corporate credit card program.
  • High level of Excel technical knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as ability to follow directions and procedures required.
  • Solid knowledge and demonstrated experience utilizing business intelligence tools (e.g.; Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for modeling and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and project management skills.
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills including collaboration, assertiveness, diplomacy, respect for differing opinions, creative thinking, and drive.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, maintain confidentiality, and display appropriate ethical knowledge.

For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $128,590 to $272,550. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
