Senior Manager, FP&A
Job Description
You’ll join our FP&A team reporting to our VP, FP&A, working closely with the CFO. As a Sr. Manager, FP&A, you will manage a team of direct reports. Corporate FP&A is an important function for NextRoll, sitting at the center of the broader finance team to help the CFO, NextRoll’s leadership and NextRoll’s board gain financial visibility and insights on the business. This team runs NextRoll’s financial processes, including our Annual Planning process and forecasts, and helps architect the information flow and methodologies we need for dynamic business partnerships. Corporate FP&A sets the parameters and forecast processes for the finance team, supports the CFO and the CEO closely to set guidance and help tell our story through numbers, and partners with other key operational teams on the moving pieces that impact our financial outlook. You will work with partners across the Finance and the leadership team.
This role is open to Remote candidates able to work in the Pacific Standard Time zone.

The impact you’ll make:- Manage key financial processes, including forecasting, budget planning, performance reporting, and others for Engineering, Business Systems & Analytics, Information Security, and Infrastructure. Provide financial analysis, commentaries, and documents to support key financial deliverables.
- Develop and report on P&L and ROI tracking of product features, projects and releases to help with decision making on resource allocation and trade-offs.
- Serve as the finance lead on the development, validation, and reporting of financial key performance indicators, including SaaS metrics. Develop metrics to track team-specific and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and collaborate across all levels.
- Serve as the CFO’s project manager to support ad hoc projects including producing corporate modeling of various financial scenarios across all functions.
- Develop new processes or improve existing processes relating to financial planning/reporting. Help define systems improvements to support NextRoll’s growth.
- Apply an analytical approach to influence strategic decision-making, with a focus on capital allocation decisions and long-term financial planning.
- Manage and continue to grow a team.
- 10+ years of relevant finance experience, including experience in financial planning and analysis & strategy in a corporate environment.
- A Bachelor’s required in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or other relevant fields (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Excellent proficiency in Excel (or equivalent) for complex financial modeling with minimum supervision (e.g. new product launch, pricing changes, return on investment for new project, acquisition).
- Experience leading complex workstreams.
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Excellent proficiency in accounting, corporate finance, and financial modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with financial planning processes and business systems such as NetSuite and Anaplan.
- Succinct report preparation and presentation skills suitable for management-level communication.
