Senior Manager, FP&A

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Develop outstanding core FP&A processes and drive their implementation throughout the organization
• Assist with implementing a set of financial and operational KPIs to provide visibility into retrospective and prospective financial performance of the business.
• Provide a high-level thought process to drive improvement; recommend solutions and implement standard processes to improve the reporting and analytical infrastructure
• Develop comprehensive financial modelling and analytical capabilities leading to greater effectiveness and efficiency of financial planning, leading to insights and actions
• Working closely with the leadership team to formulate Dynamo's short-term and long-term financial plan
• Partner with HR to deliver a complete human capital planning process with one result being more accurate headcount financial planning, ultimately supporting Dynamo's talent investment
• Develop the operating and financial model required to achieve management's strategic plan based on broad understanding of accounting and business operations
• Assist with financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and assist with post-acquisition integrations.
• Work with department leaderships to build their annual budgets and forecasts
• Producing models to project long-term growth and determine the impacting business factors
• Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance and provide suggestions of improvement
• Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the financial results, department performance and variance between actual and plan
• Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts

What We Are Looking For:

• Business, Finance, or Accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Proven experience in a Senior Management Finance role
• Fintech or Software industry experience a plus
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in U.S.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Validated understanding of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach and can-do attitude
• Maximum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance
• Only local candidates to Boston U.S. or surrounding area will be considered.
