About the Role
As Digital Shelf Senior Manager you will be responsible for driving sales and share across retail.com, pureplay, and marketplaces by ensuring the visibility, availability, quality, and optimization of a company's products and brand presence. Your ultimate goal is to optimize the digital shelf components for Harman products across our channel partners. Build, oversee & develop a team to aid in planning, content execution, track product launches, and push optimized content updates that aid in driving conversion for retailer.com. You will need strong strategic thinking as well as detail-oriented program/project management skills to develop and implement account-specific content strategies. You will help develop a roadmap of digital shelf improvements to enhance Harman's brands' (JBL, Harman Kardon, and others) presence on retail partner websites, build brand awareness among their consumers, and aid in conversion and ultimately boost sell-in.
Your Team
You will report to the Sr. Dir., Global Ecommerce.
You will have one person reporting to you at the onset of this role, and you will be responsible to scale the team to meet the needs of the global business.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a digital shelf strategy, including content rollout, optimization, and roadmap for indirect eCom/retailer.com channels.
- Collaborate with regional GMs, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, and sales teams to create and manage Digital Shelf performance statistic dashboards for global markets and retailers.
- Will lead a team that works with sales, marketing, product management, content, and technical teams to launch products on retailer.com on time and optimize product content
- Own Content Syndication efforts to optimize the product listings for a strong brand presence, better conversion, and higher visibility on search results on various retailer.com partners across the globe.
- Report to executives and key stakeholders on high-level wins, challenges, and future plans to develop an omni-channel, full-funnel strategy.
- Drive inventory/product availability visibility for retailer.com sales teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital shelf space, and continuously evaluate and make recommendations for improving the digital shelf strategy.
- Be the company's Digital Shelf expert and promote adaptation across markets and teams.
- Provide training and support to markets and necessary teams involved in digital shelf best practices and technologies.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in digital shelf space, e-commerce, or a related field.
- 3+ years of National Accounts / Key Account experience (on and off-premise)
- Strong technical knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital shelf space.
- Experience with product data management tools and processes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strategic thinking disciplined creative passion, and a willingness to be hands-on.
- High energy, positive can-do attitude, and self-motivated.
- High degree of organization, accuracy, flexibility, and detail-oriented.
- Team player and collaborative.

What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 35%, domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA., Novi, MI., or Stamford, CT.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
What We Offer
- HARMAN has different base pay ranges based on geography and work location within the US. The base pay range for this role is $143,100 - $174,900 + applicable bonus based on California work location. In addition to the work location, an individual's base pay depends upon different factors, such as the job scope and impact and relevant skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
