  • Lead Network Engineering team providing strategic vision while balancing near-term deliverables.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of a cohesive vision, strategy, and roadmaps for key Network Platforms in partnership with the Real Estate, M&A, Cloud, and Product teams Carrier Digital leadership, and internal business unit stakeholders.
  • Direct and facilitate the adoption and improvement of our Network Platforms as a strategic leader across various LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Security platforms.
  • Designs, develops, and implements network solutions that serve the business needs of Carrier.
  • Understand global and regional network requirements and lead transformation, standardization, and innovation efforts across various environments including Manufacturing, Corporate Office, Factory, and Sales locations.
  • Understand and enhance the current landscape of tools, processes, standards, automation, monitoring, hardware, and more.
  • Lead assessments and vendor selection in order to develop and deploy cutting-edge platforms and services offerings, spanning beyond traditional technology.
  • Reviews appropriateness of technologies used for network components and recommends modifications and/or upgrades when necessary to keep systems operating according to defined service level agreements and operating level agreements.
  • Assists with the audit and management of Carrier global network platforms identifying gaps and needs across all Carrier Corporate business units and sub-business units.
  • Identifies and solves complex problems potentially impacting the broader function; creates methods to address current and future customer needs.
  • Accountable for managing projects, managing budgets, and directing activities of the project delivery teams.
  • Navigating through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process, and delivering on a commitment.

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Certifications/Licensure

  • CCNP, CCDP, and CCIE RS certifications are viewed favorably
