WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Sr. Manager, Global Talent Sourcing will lead, develop and inspire a team of sourcers located around the world who play a critical role in growing Braze headcount more than 35% year over year. They will partner closely with TA Leadership, Employer Branding, and Social Impact to create the go to market strategy for the way Braze attracts, interviews, and hires top talent at a global scale with a special focus on underrepresented groups. This leader will be a vital member of the senior leadership team to contribute to and support all talent acquisition programs and initiatives and as well as a trusted advisor to the business to solve complex hiring problems. 

 Additional responsibilities: 

• Work with the senior leadership team to co-create the global sourcing strategy that includes the what, who, when, where, and why of sourcing and candidate generation
• Tactically ensure there is an “always on” approach to building top of funnel and all efforts are in lockstep with the coordination team to provide a world class candidate experience 
• Coach, advise and develop team members as they partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand hiring needs
• Make strategic decisions through available data and leverage our internal analyst to be well versed in team metrics at all times 
• Create a performance culture driven by metrics that reliably and consistently supports all searches
• Partner with Employer Brand and Social Impact to support digital and in person events as needed
• Be able to personally support executive level searches directly when needed
• Report on progress to leadership, identify efficiencies, and work through creative solutions with the team

• Prior experience as a 2nd line leader with a focus on manager development and coaching
• Prior sourcing experience within a technology company
• A proven track record of operating at a high volume and supporting 500+ searches a year 
• An expert in reaching passive talent across communities with special focus on under represented groups- with the relationships and references to prove it 
• Proficient in analyzing data, presenting solutions, and making data-driven decisions
• Experience using Industry Leading sourcing tools (GEM) and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse) to identify and engage passive, qualified candidates
• A history of building and improving teams rooted in efficient & scalable process improvements
