The Senior Manager, Global Stakeholder Engagement will be responsible for providing strategic government relations counsel, help develop internal and external narratives, and engage key partners on issues of cross global significance.

You will provide advice on international affairs to senior leadership and develop global government affairs-related messaging on geopolitical matters. In addition, you will work with and advise internal teams on the public policy implications of their products and services and partner with cross-functional global teams to help craft the policy landscape around pressing issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Navigate sophisticated political policy issues and distill key messages for a diverse variety of audiences.
  • Efficiently establish relationships and work well with associates at all levels within the organization and with key constituents outside the company.
  • Monitor, interpret, and influence the political, regulatory, and economic environment that may impact Micron's businesses.
  • Write and present concise briefs for senior management.
  • Drive development, positioning and execution of Micron senior management outreach and key collaborator engagement to relevant policymakers, ensuring external relations are anticipatory, ongoing, and aligned.
  • Organizations and opinion leaders who may have an impact on the business.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years work experience and strong understanding in public policy, manufacturing. international business, commercial diplomacy, and national security.
  • Familiarity with global political economy and geopolitics, especially the Indo-Pacific region.
  • Outstanding communication skills, a partnership mentality, high level of self-awareness, a desire to seek feedback and act on it

Education and Experience:

  • International experience; APAC and Europe
  • Bachelor's Degree Required in Journalist, international Relation, Political Science, Business or Economics. Advanced degree desired
  • Proficiency or familiarity in a foreign language.
  • Strong experience working in a trade association, the U.S. government, or policy consultancy.
