Senior Manager - Global Tax Reporting and Projects

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Senior Tax Manager to join our team. You will support the tax reporting and compliance processes and assist with our tax accounting and direct tax functions. You'll be joining a fast-paced dynamic multinational enterprise and will gain experience in a wide range of tax disciplines. Our ideal candidate is hands-on analytical and enthusiastic and has strong technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ASC 740 tax provision and tax accounting processes

• Review federal state & local tax returns and estimates ensuring timely payments

• Analyze and reconcile tax accounts and perform flux analyses

• Prepare financial statement disclosures related to income taxes

• Develop and document tax positions

• Drive process efficiencies in the tax return processes including leveraging automation

• Actively monitor and analyze federal state and local tax legislation that may impact our operations

• Manage special projects including tax policy planning and forecasting

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of combined corporate tax and public accounting experience

• You're able to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities

• You have a strong understanding of ASC 740

• You're resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem-solving abilities

• You sweat the details and can drive projects to completion

• You‘re able to engage and collaborate with other teams across Finance and beyond

• You can communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel

• You've got a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting; C.P.A. strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modeling tax scenarios

• Project management experience (tracking projects/deadlines/deliverables)

• Tech sector experience preferred;  SAAS environment a plus

• Experience with non-income tax matters is a plus

• Intermediate+ level experience with Excel
