We're currently looking for a Senior Manager, GPS Digital HR Partner to join our team in Franklin, TN.

This role serves as a strategic people leader providing strategy, vision and direction for GPS programs, projects and initiatives ensuring an excellent user experience and delivering measurable value/ROI to the business. This role influences and consults across global and regional HR teams to ensure globally consistent capabilities and successful adoption and utilization of Nissan's HR digital platforms and tools. HR digital platforms may include: Workday, Cornerstone OnDemand and ServiceNow, Analytics tools or other Software as a Service (SaaS) products across Nissan.

The Digital HR Partner team within Global People Services are the front face to the Region, supporting all enhancements, Regional and Global projects. This Senior Manager role will be responsible for overseeing Digital initiatives within the America's Region. As a strong communicator, they will be required to partner with a wide range of stakeholders across GPS and HR including Global and Regional HR leaders, Global and Regional COEs, GPS and Nissan Digital teams. The end goal is to provide excellent user experience across HR providing tools and services in a seamless and exciting way.

  • Develops and implements the strategy, vision and roadmap for the Region, partnering with key HR COEs, HRBPs, ensuring there is an excellent user experience, platform adoption and delivering measurable value/ROI to the business.
  • Provides leadership, direction and oversight to the team to implement the strategy and roadmap and build capabilities to support our core platforms. Identifies and removes barriers on projects, and where necessary advises and influences senior level leaders on risks and issues.
  • Partners with leadership (GPS leaders, Global HR COEs, Nissan Digital, etc) and other key stakeholders in defining (voice of customer), prioritizing and executing the strategy and roadmap for digital platforms.
  • Ensures the Digital HR Partner team are working in conjunction with the Business Analyst team to provide business requirements for key regional enhancements, supporting testing and implementation.
  • Develops and coordinates change management plans including aligning with HR functional users including communications, training, and awareness activities.
  • Ensures the necessary Resource Planning is in place to support both Regional and Global demands.
  • Works with IS to plan and budget the Regional Project portfolio.
  • Develops and manages key metrics and objectives that can be used to measure progress and demonstrate value to the organization.
  • Leads the ongoing maintenance and improvement areas for relevant processes, tools and methodologies for Workday and Engage/Service Now digital platforms. Stays updated on current trends and best practices within the market.
  • Benchmarks best practices and HR technology trends. Performs research and internal analysis of business and technical strategies to inform HR digital platform decisions.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

Job Knowledge and Skill:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills providing coaching, guidance, training and staff development to subordinates or contractors.
  • HR Systems/ Platform Knowledge/Experience: Workday, SNOW/CSOD Reporting/Analytics tools (as applicable) required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of HR processes and data structure principles, trends and best practices (HR reporting/analytics principles as applicable).
  • Project management experience leading large-scale, regional/global business projects and change management initiatives preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project leadership/project mgmt and change mgmt concepts: ITIL, PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean, Six Sigma Concepts (V-Up Training required; V Fast Facilitator training preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language) including ability to engage with and influence HR leaders, business leaders and HR COEs and Business Partners. Ability to simplify complex and/or conceptual information and effectively adapt and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to augment quantitative analyses with qualitative inputs, bringing forward actionable insights for HR leaders and business leaders Ability to think critically about a problem and provide solutions. Knowledge and application of PDCA methodologies required.
  • Experience in multi-cultural, global matrixed environment preferred
  • Strong emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

Experience:

  • 10 yrs of experience at a professional level or 10 yrs of directly related experience.
  • 5+ years in a managerial role, providing strategy, vision and direction.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
