WHAT YOU'LL DO
Braze is looking for a Senior Manager, Global Strategic Account (GSA) Marketing to develop and execute the marketing strategy for our Global Strategic Account segment. The Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) segment of the Braze customer base includes a named collection of the world’s biggest brands. Embedded in the Demand Generation team, and partnering closely with GSA Sales Leadership, this role will develop and lead account-based marketing strategies focused on cross-sells, upsells, and renewals for the GSA segment, while also overseeing a marketing portfolio of integrated demand generation and lifecycle campaigns.
The Senior Manager, GSA Marketing is responsible for building data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns that successfully engage key customers and prospects at global strategic accounts to generate and accelerate sales opportunities across high-value, multinational companies. Specifically, this role will:
- Ideate and execute 1:1 and 1:few account-based marketing strategies in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to drive engagement.
- Develop and execute field marketing and events, and content.Â
- Oversee and contribute to multi-touch marketing programs including events, direct mail, webinars, digital lead generation, email nurture, thought leadership programming and content to deliver engaged leads and accelerated opportunities to sales.
- Leverage global demand generation and marketing programs to drive lead generation for account-specific, “always-on” marketing engagement opportunities.
- Work closely with the Global Demand Generation, Brand, Content, Marketing Operations, and Strategic Consulting teams to create account specific content for high-value personalization for each campaign or activation.
- Institute account-based marketing frameworks that scale across the industries and personas represented among this segment of the customer/prospect base.
- Ensure alignment with Sales Leadership on priorities and areas of opportunity within key accounts and account planning sessions (working closely with Global Account Managers across regions where necessary).
- Interface with executive leaders at client companies and within Braze.
- Own reporting and analysis on strategic marketing programs, ensuring programs perform against goals and are continually optimized.
- Fulfill managerial responsibilities for the team, including managing the GSA marketing budget, procurement, and overseeing people management processes. Â
- Mentor and nurture members of the growing global strategic accounts marketing teamÂ
- Serve on the cross-functional steering committee for the GSA program.Â
WHO YOU ARE
- Data-driven marketer who continuously optimizes campaigns to create multi-touch programs with a strategic focus on account personalization, one-to-one, and one-to-few experiences.
- Strong acumen in account-based marketing and digital lead generation.
- Proven thought leader fluent in planning and programming, and leveraging in-region events to drive company revenue.
- Inquisitive and proactive in driving ideas and innovation.Â
- 5-7 years experience in the areas of enterprise and account-based marketing for B2B SaaS organizations
- Experience partnering directly with sales leadership to jointly pursue new pipeline, accelerate deals, and close business
- Experience managing, mentoring, and growing people and teamsÂ
- Ability to collaborate with other internal departments to create a positive company-wide team effort for key account marketing programs
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Not afraid to try new things – driven to constantly improve results
- Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase and other marketing tools is a plus
- Strategic sales or consulting experience is a plus
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $114,750 and $131,750/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $135,000 and $155,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.Â
