About the Job
This position will own and develop a strategic, scalable roadmap for HR Technology including our primary HR system, UKG. This position requires both a strategic mindset as well as the ability to be hands-on and willing to configure business processes, conditional rules, security roles, alerts, notifications, as well as create insightful human capital analytics and reporting. You will serve as the department lead responsible for establishing and maintaining standards for the utilization and integrity of HR data and the overall production environment. You will act as the data steward for access to and maintenance of HR data. This role will establish and implement ongoing testing, security, and analytical standards in support of upgrades, patches, and related database maintenance. This position reports into our Chief HR Officer.
What You’ll Do
OVERSIGHT AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION
- Responsible for the overall functionality of Global HR systems and their integrations.
- Provides expertise, input, and recommendations for upgrades and new vendors for HR Systems including leading all RFPs and vendor analysis.
- Serves as key project manager/ point of contact for implementation of new systems and modules.
- Ensures that HR Systems are meeting the needs of all HR team members, leadership, and employees.
SYSTEM / PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
- Assures data integrity of HR information globally.
- Recommends changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS and takes the lead as project manager to implement these changes. Provides knowledge transfer and internal systems training to team members.
- Works closely and collaboratively with Benefits Administration to ensure open enrollment system functionality meets needs of the organization and reflects accuracy of benefits renewal rates and policy.
- Serves as HR department liaison to IT, Payroll, and other departments and external vendors when it relates to use of HRIS / data.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance department on the annual HR budget including working with all HR areas to submit the budget requests and monthly analysis of actual HR expense vs budget. Assists the CHRO in reviewing and tracking the overall HR budget vs. spend.
- Maintains all HR vendor contracts and confirms spend vs. negotiated terms. Work closely with each business area, recruiting and finance on the headcount/role allocation and the assignment of roles filled. Responsible for tracking headcount and available roles for the organization.
- Oversee and troubleshoot any issues with integrations between HRIS and ancillary systems (LMS, Performance systems, benefit vendors, etc.).
- Maintains security role permissions in all systems.
ANALYTICS
- Oversees, creates, generates, and maintains effective and insightful HR reporting, including turnover, headcount, recruiting, learning, performance, diversity, budget, and other key metrics to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Partners with HR and MarketAxess Leadership to create and provide analytic reports to assist in executive decision making including supporting strategic initiatives.
- Documents and maintains accurate and thorough admin and end-user processes and procedures.
- Determine and collect additional data necessary to move towards more insightful analytics including broader people analytics in the future.
AUDITS AND COMPLIANCE
- Oversees regular audit schedule to review integrity of data in HRIS system and databases.
- Serves as primary liaison for annual data testing and auditing for HR team and other compliance requirements.
- Responsible for Federal, State, and Equal Employee Opportunity (EEO) compliance including Annual EEO reporting.
- Reviews job descriptions to determine FLSA Status for new positions within the company.
What You Bring to the Table
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in an HRIS system
- Thorough knowledge of HR systems / databases (e.g. UKG, SAP, Adaptive, Greenhouse) and ability to customize HRIS
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with UKG Pro preferred
- Experience with API/ integrations preferred
- Proven track record of creating scalable, efficient Global HR systems
- Experience managing an RFP
- HRIS implementation experience strongly preferred including leading an RFP process and the ability to conduct an assessment for each system
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
- Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, and processes, and experience with database tools
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
- Proactive and forward-thinking on transactional and strategic activities

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $175,000 USD to $220,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
