About the Role:
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we're looking for a motivated Senior Manager, HRBP (Team Lead) & Talent Management to join our team.
As the Senior Manager of HRBP Partnerships & Talent Management, you will plan, develop, lead, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the HRBP team, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy. You will also own the implementation and development of the talent management platform and strategies, leveraging our Culture Amp platform.Â
This is a build role "from the ground up," both strategic and tactical. You will lead a team of two, with an objective to grow as the company expands.Â
This role will work on-site on Tuesdays & Thursdays in our NYC corporate office.Â
What You'll Do:
HRBP Partnerships
- Oversee HRBP and talent management team (You will lead a team of two, to grow as the company expands).Â
- Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
- You will act as a facilitator, coach, and, most importantly, a strategic partner with business leaders and employees.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategies related to staffing and retention.
- Plan and execute a comprehensive yearly employee experience plan.
- Travel to clinics regularly, developing solid relationships with the local teams.
- Drive rollout plans for company-wide HR initiatives.
- Analyze trends and metrics, and collaborate with the broader HR team to develop solutions, make recommendations, and develop programs.
- Partner with Medical and Operations teams to create and implement a people strategy to support the front lines and our clinic managers and medical directors.
- Design and apply change management and organizational development strategies that influence organizational change in support of business strategies.
- Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, succession planning, and other talent development and retention activities.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues, partnering with legal.
- Regularly assess current practices and make recommendations for new approaches that will support the organization's continued growth.
- Maintain knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources.
- Guide, train, and direct employees on the execution of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) and company adherence.
Talent Management
- Develop and oversee annual HR processes, including talent review, performance planning, yearly performance reviews, retention initiatives, and compensation reviews (in partnership with total rewards).
- Grow manager capability through coaching and implementation of Talent management programs and opportunities.
- Partner on the development and completion of our employee survey program.
You will have the following:

 You Have:
- Bachelor's degree.Â
- Minimum six years of experience:
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly preferred.
- Strong facilitation/presentation skills.
- Experience with UKG & Culture Amp Administration preferred.Â
- Experience in a Growth or start-up environment.
