*Valvoline World Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY, but we invite candidates living in nearby markets to apply as well. Ideally, we are open to remote candidates living within driving distance (i.e., Cincinnati, Louisville, etc.) willing to visit HQs 2-3 days a week. We are also open to non-local candidates working in remote capacity, but willing to visit HQs quarterly. *Relocation package is offered for candidates open to relocation.
How You'll Make an Impact
The Senior Manager, HRIS & Analytics is responsible for overall HRIS system performance and maintenance, including employee information security, continuous process efficiency and HR Operations. Provides insights and support for workforce management technology implementations to optimize people processes and the employee experience, provides data security and positively impacts our success. Ensures seamless integration within the HR technology platform and leads HR-related data analytics. Oversees the specification, development, and implementation of global HR technology processes, policies, and procedures within a digital, cloud-based applications environment. Provides leadership, strategic direction for the HRIS/Operations team with a strong focus on efficiency, data privacy, and compliance. Proactively supports projects, identifies risks/issues, and implements effective mitigation plans as required. Builds strong relationships and manages diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the company. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- HRIS system administration, enhancements, adoption, user satisfaction, projects, and reporting. Serves as the subject matter expert. Ensures data integrity throughout the HRIS and related systems. Trains external and internal users with proper hiring steps, investigating, troubleshooting, and effectively solving system problems. Partners with both technical and functional teams to coordinate upgrades/bug fixes. Develops HRIS system requirements with key stakeholders including strong understanding of customer data and effective master data management practices.
- Performing HRIS application design, configuration, integration, and implementation. Assists in the improvement of existing applications and the deployment of new applications. Manages the project lifecycle of new features from planning to completion. Establishes and drives the strategy and vision for each aspect of the HRIS system. Develops strong, productive relationships with business stakeholders. Ensures a healthy and timely workflow by providing strong direction and prioritization.
- Partnering with IT in the designs of long-term technology and analytics landscape for organization. Works closely with business partners to ensure processes and systems meet business needs and communicates system features and functionality. Ensures adequate quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing is conducted as needed for new features. Identifies and evaluates opportunities for continuous improvement Benchmarks and educates HR leadership on HRIS industry best practices to influence key organization decisions- balancing people, process, and technology. Manages the process flow of new ideas from internal stakeholders and external service providers and vendors.
- Guiding the HR analytics team in the design of KPIs and metrics to drive HR organizational effectiveness. Effectively manages a team in the development and management of data metrics and analysis. Develops and maintains a regular monthly audit schedule to review the integrity of the data in HRIS system. Actively participates in the analysis and implementation of solutions related to data integrity and consistency
- Managing HR operations functions including, but not limited to, onboarding, employee records, U.S. I-9 compliance, unemployment compensation, WOTC, MSS and ESS.
- Facilitating implementation of employee social engagement, connection, and collaboration platforms, improving driving the MSS and ESS user experience and adoption rates, mobile access, supporting the virtual workforce, real-time data-based surveys and decision making.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline Global Products from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You'll Need
- BA/BS degree with an emphasis in human resources, business, information technology, or related field
- Minimum of seven years of previous experience in HCM enterprise systems within a $1B+ multi-national CPG or manufacturing company (Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle)
- Three years of experience with SAP Success Factors preferred
- Analytics and Reporting experience (i.e. experience developing and reporting key HR KPI metrics)
- Minimum of five years leading direct reports and managing cross-functional teams
- Background in managing highly integrated HRMS/HRIS products
- Strong understanding of HR products/modules (HR, payroll, benefits, profile management, etc.)
- Experience with user training on software platforms
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience designing and developing in an agile and collaborative environment
- Extensive understanding of software requirements and design process documentation
- Experienced in RFPs, project management and systems implementation
- High level of familiarity with HRIS functionality for report-generation and data gathering
- Experience in data analysis and presenting data in a consumable, impactful executive level format
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word proficiency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with great attention to detail
- Must have the ability to manage work with changing priorities
- General understanding of technology and data files
- High level of enthusiasm and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work with little or no oversight while possessing a solution seeking attitude
- Accepts responsibility for actions and understands the concept of ownership
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
