Your role in helping us shape the future:
Manage Information Assurance teams at Intelsat providing cyber support to our products, infrastructure and employees, applying a high degree of information security and technical expertise.

• Join a dedicated IT infrastructure team that is tasked with implementing new and exciting technologies that drive our business efficiencies and support our employees and customer revenue stream.

• Establish, mature, and track Corporate Cyber security program including development of program KPIs and metrics. Oversee continuous update of security policies.
• Devise and execute strategies to improve the reliability and maturity levels of internal and external Security architecture and applications
• Partner with internal and external teams to conduct vulnerability assessments, audits, forensic investigations and execute remediations
• Responsible for security reviews and hardening of enterprise architecture - which includes network, business applications, integrations, data security, access controls and cloud deployments.
• Responsible for security related incident response, post-analysis and mitigation efforts
• Collaborate and knowledge share with internal and external IT external teams, establish and cultivate associations with vital customers and vendor contacts.
• Keep abreast of industry security trends and developments, as well as applicable government regulations.

You should definitely have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered)
• 10+ years of IT experience including experience with deploying and managing cyber security solutions (detection, remediation, and prevention) and developing and administering an IT security program.
• At least 5-years of direct people management
• CISSP certification
• Demonstrated success managing a security operation center and hands on experience managing multiple security incidents of varying magnitude
• Ability to maintain security application portfolio and establish rules of engagement with infrastructure & application teams
• Ability to lead the security compliance team and other groups in the Enterprise in achieving and maintaining Security related audit certifications (PCI, ISO, SO2)
• In-depth knowledge on Security architecture, Security and network protocols, standards and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of different types of attacks, techniques, threat vectors, attack paths, and how to formulate risk-based decision making in assessing vulnerabilities and remediation priorities
• The knowledge, skills and ability to formulate and develop a security dashboard incorporating relevant security and operational metrics
• Proficiency in Network security architecture concepts including topology, components, and principles.
• This role is subject to ITAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee).

It would be nice if you had:

• Security related certifications like CCSP, CISA, CISM, PCI-ISA
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, distributed systems architecture and general knowledge of multiple IT infrastructure related technical disciplines.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
• Experience analyzing needs of company as well as employee development and strong understanding of business goals
