Senior Manager, Information Technology
Job Description
The Senior Manager of IT will be responsible for managing and leading the organization's IT department. This role will involve working with various stakeholders, such as internal staff and external vendors, to ensure that the IT systems are reliable, efficient, and secure. The Senior Manager of IT will oversee the development and implementation of Corporate IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's objectives.
The ideal candidate for this role has demonstrated experience scaling IT teams through globally integrative thinking, and data-driven decision making in an agile environment.
How You’ll Do It

Design

Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's objectives.

Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including MSPs, networks, databases, and corporate productivity applications, to ensure that they are reliable, efficient, and secure.

Identify opportunities to improve IT operations, including through the adoption of new technologies or process improvements.

Develop and maintain a rolling 6 month roadmap for the IT department within Enterprise Technology focused on outcomes being driven for the organization.

Partner cross-functionally to design a Corporate Technology environment that fosters successful experimentation with new technologies

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the organization's IT systems.

Collaborate

Manage relationships with external vendors, such as hardware and software providers, to ensure that the organization is receiving the best value for its IT investments.

Ensure that the organization's IT systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements, such as data privacy laws.

Participate in corporate Cybersecurity committee and drive security initiatives for platforms within your scope

Collaborate with other departments (ex. People and Talent, Office Ops, Engineering, etc.) to identify IT needs and provide solutions to support their operations.

Lead the IT team, including managing and mentoring staff, setting a high bar for performance goals and objectives, and conducting regular performance reviews.

Be a role model in cultivating and enhancing strong partnerships across the organization and between teams, while influencing business partners to adopt new ways of working aligned with Enterprise Technology best-practices.

Provide clear direction, coaching and support to the team; enable career development while managing performance.

Keep abreast of new features/functionality for core platforms that can help drive positive behavior change / outcomes for your user-base.

The Right Stuff
-
This role will require work in our Denver office and have some ability to work from home.

6-8 years of experience in IT management, with a track record of success in managing IT teams and implementing IT strategies.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal staff and external vendors, including M&A activity.

Experience identifying areas for cost savings and proactively driving value back into the organization.

Experience with digital mailroom technology.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as data privacy laws.

Experience procuring and implementing new technologies.

Experience with work management and knowledge base platforms (Atlassian, ServiceNow, etc.).

Experience developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, hardware, including servers, networks, databases, and software applications (GSuite, Azure AD, blended Mac/PC environment)

Some travel could be required in this position, up to 15% travel.
