Role Description:

The Senior Manager, Information Technology and Information Security oversees daily running of the IT & IS departments. Help ShipBob with achieving strategic IT and IS initiatives. This role collaborates across ShipBob's global organisation to push team performance forward. You will ensure the operational and security of ShipBob's services, end-user computing environment, and infrastructure. Establish best practices and technological solutions to meet changing business needs while understanding how to run a 100% cloud-first, remote-first organization.

What you'll do:

• Build, manage, and inspire high performing Information Technology and Information Security teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage all internal technology needs including help desk, end-user computing, warehouse infrastructure, SaaS applications management, schedule updates & upgrades.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies and operational procedures.
• Conduct security meetings to showcase the security requirements for SOC & ISO270001.
• Provide strategic thinking and delivery to ShipBob through technological challenges.
• Interact with employees at all levels to understand needs and deliver scalable solutions.
• Steer initiatives to automate support operations while increasing end-user stratification.
• Establish and manage vendor/supplier relationships to derive business objectives.
• Manage, and report on key performance indicators that measure IT & IS support capabilities against business goals.
• Implement IT & IS support vision and strategy to support business objectives for a high growth company.
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to prevent security breaches or violations of laws.
• Manage the security awareness program within the organization ensuring users are made aware of the modern security scenarios.
• Improve the overall security posture and cyber resilience through effective training and compliance programs in security.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Broad understanding of managing a remote-first, cloud-first environment with a broad understanding of Cloud and SaaS technologies.
• You bring a security-first mindset with experience in implementing ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other security controls.
• Team-building capabilities in a high growth environment and bring a broad understanding of Google Workspace, Azure, and MDM Technologies.
• Solid desire to inspire change, and ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-moving technology landscape and keep pace with the latest thinking and new technologies.
