About the role:
CHANEL is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Insights Team in New York. You will act as a strategic business partner to Chanel's three divisions by helping answer key business questions through a consumer lens. You will help the organization understand consumer behavior, market dynamics, and trends through the execution of primary research and ongoing data analysis. Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and a passion for data analysis, social analytics and luxury consumer experience.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Co-lead the Insights' team's partnership with Fragrance & Beauty, Fashion, and Watch Fine Jewelry division leader clients to understand key business challenges and propose how they can be answered through consumer and external perspectives to drive action.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Voice of Client Practice.
- Acting as a leader and thought partner on all client experience related trends.
- Oversee the reporting process for all client experience touch-points.
- Co-lead action planning and identify new opportunities with key stakeholders across each division.
- Manage data platform vendor, maximizing our dashboards and data integrity.
- Expand client experience use cases across the organization.
- Lead, design, analyze, and implement proprietary research studies, including management of vendor relationships.
- Set and measure KPIs holding teams accountable for the results.
- Analyze and storytell the correlation between cultural and marketplace trends and its impact on business results.
- Collaborate with divisions on task forces and test-and-learns to measure success from a client perspective.
- Partner with Global Insights team on locally relevant Global work and studies
- Support across other Insights Practices
What you will bring to the team:
- 8+ years of experience in a data-driven role, ideally working with luxury and/or global brands
- Strong analytical skills including statistical analysis and mastery of Excel
- Preferable to have experience with survey creation or customer experience measurement tools (ie: Medallia, Qualtrics)
- Proficient in social listening platforms (ie: Netbase, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Social Standards) and related KPIs and measurements
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including poise and manner to represent Chanel with internal and external audiences
- Experience using data to story tell, crafting decks that report results in a compelling way
- Highly collaborative and flexible/adaptable to different environments and ways of working
- Curious and comfortable working with ambiguity

Position Logistics:
- Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location / office.
Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 through $140,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
