Lead group of high performing Platform Engineers to deliver technology change to the organization.

Challenge the status-quo, be a key member of the Platform Engineering Management team to help improve how the team works & collaborates.
-
Drive technology change to the organization through and agile approach to delivering value and working across organizational boundaries to delivery successful outcomes.
-
Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for Senior MMC Leadership, Project Managers, Software, and Engineering teams, to navigate the constantly changing technology landscape and identify appropriate tactical and strategic solutions to deliver self-service, automated cloud, and container-based application environments.Â

A service delivery mindset with a requirement to ensure engagement of stakeholders and ability to implement fast feedback loops.
What you need to have:
-
Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department with extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern finance or data transformation initiatives for large organization
-
Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development, develop new techniques and data pipelines that will enable various insights for internal and external customer
-
Good understanding of agile methodologies (8+ years minimum), Leadership abilities with a strategic mind, Excellent project management skills
-
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI public cloud; development and/or architecture, Experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud, and platform as a service technology.Â

Hands on experience building data platforms Glue, Kafka, API gateway, Kubernetes Containers, working with visualization tools like tableau, PBI etc.

Develop deep partnerships with engineering and product teams to deliver on major cross-functional measurements and testing
-
Design a data engineering roadmap and execute the vision behind it
-
Hire, lead, and mentor a world-class data team
-
Partner with other business areas to co-author and co-drive strategies on our shared roadmap
-
Oversee the movement of large amounts of data into our data lake
-
Establish a customer-centric approach and synthesize customer needs
-
Own end-to-end pipelines and destinations for the transfer and storage of all data
-
Manage 3rd-party resources and critical data integration vendors
What makes you stand out?

Experience with web-based applications, web services-based applications, data platforms/services. API Management platforms.

Prior experience in understanding Financial systems, customization, SAP, Certinia, S4 Hana, Salesforce or similar tools

Proven ability to deliver & drive adoption of customer focused shared service platforms.Â
