Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Leadership Development Senior Manager located in San Jose, CA or Austin, TX or other US location.
Reporting to the Training & Development Director, the Leadership Development Senior Manager role will be a key contributor responsible for driving & executing the Flex Leadership Development curriculum and supporting our overall global learning strategy.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design, implement, and manage the next-generation Leadership Development program and leadership development roadmap for Flex
- Apply strong instructional design, adult learning theory with a focus on blended experiential learning to build learning solutions.
- Serve as our internal Leadership & development SME - creating, curating relevant content/materials as needed to support our leaders.
- Define the scope, objectives, and timing of the projects, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Partner with various stakeholders including instructional designers, vendors, SMEs, Regional Talent Leaders, HRBPs, Business Leaders, Learning Operation Teams, & Marketing/Communications to drive the implementation and global rollout of the program(s)
- Ensure all program content and materials are kept updated, enhanced and always relevant
- Collaborate on enhancing our leadership development brand and innovative marketing ideas for our services
- Measure ongoing program/solution effectiveness by reporting results against expected KPIs to ensure programs remain relevant and impactful.
- Assist in implementing the annual needs analysis to identify the LD skills needed throughout the company.
- Deliver results with little supervision in a dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
- Support other Global Learning/Talent related programs in our portfolio and processes as assigned.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Learning, Organization Development or related field
- Proven experience designing and managing Leadership Development program that can scale to a large, diverse, and global audience preferably in Manufacturing industry
- Blended Instructional design/ curriculum development experience with a focus on experiential learning. Proficient knowledge of effective adult learning and development methods
- Knowledge of emerging learning technologies and methodologies.
- Exceptional project management skills, independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage complexity and work with global stakeholders to achieve business results
- Experience working with remote or geographically dispersed team members
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
- Some domestic and international travel required.
