Would you like to join a fast paced, fun-loving and diverse team? WP Engine's digital growth team is looking for a dynamic marketer who has experience with developing lifecycle subscription based strategies to achieve revenue and customer growth targets. We need that rare talent who can work across many functions to bring value to current customers through dynamic CRM marketing campaigns while driving significant growth in upgrade and cross sell revenue opportunities.
The day to day.
The ideal person will lead digital marketing initiatives that are focused on creating an effortless experience for the user and improving the customer upgrade journey across digital touchpoints. You are someone who gets excited about diving into the data, curious about user behavior or trends, and can identify areas of opportunities to drive growth!
You will work cross-functionally to manage large, strategic, marketing projects that require integration with multiple teams (Sales, Channel Managers, Designers, Web Development, Marketing & Sales Operations, Customer Service, Product, User Research, etc.) and have the potential to deliver major improvements to overall customer lifecycle performance and profitability.
Overall success will require a strong understanding of our customer segments and how we engage with them in a meaningful way. You will have the chance to craft a highly visible area of WP Engine that directly impacts the growth of the business!
- Influence the overall success of our global lifecycle marketing program. Helping to fuel our upgrade and cross-sell strategies across all of our portfolio brands. Including WP Engine, Flywheel, StudioPress and Genesis, Local and our most recent Delicious Brains acquisition.
- Build and manage productive partnerships with a wide range of business unit leaders.
- Gather, analyze, and apply relevant customer data/insights to evolve our current customer lifecycle/retention strategy, to define effective and innovative strategic marketing approaches, and improve our sales pipeline and self-serve revenue.
- Work directly with our website strategy, web design/development and product teams to build personalized experiences for current customers with a focus on product positioning and ecommerce to encourage cross-sell and upgrade opportunities.
- Develop a CRM marketing automation strategy and work with our email and notification marketing team for execution to support lead generation, nurture, and conversion.
- Assist in forecasting monthly and annual growth potential leveraging data from core website analysis.
Your skills and expertise.
Minimum qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience with lifecycle marketing, website optimization, CRO testing and personalization.
- Proven success building strategies at scale that drive revenue growth, require internal buy-in, and cross-functional collaboration/execution.
- Track record of successfully developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns that have met or exceeded goals, including email marketing and push notification campaigns.
- Expertise in Marketing Automation platforms and CRM solutions (Hubspot and Salesforce preferred, but all will be considered).
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of initiatives. Knowledge of technologies such as Asana or Jira is a plus.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders, confidently providing insights and recommendations based on strong research and analysis using Google Analytics.
- Ability to work autonomously to accomplish objectives and evaluate results.
