Our Ways of Working
We’re a remote-first company with team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote workis for our employees so people can get the work done in the way that suits them best. With rare exception, our employees generally work 9-5 in their home time zone.Â
We also know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build community and collaboration, we gather in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually. As this role sits on the leadership team, there is also the expectation that you would attend 1-2 leadership team retreats each year.Â
What the Role Is
The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics will provide strategic insights, analysis and leadership across all of our growth initiatives at Babylist. You will narrow in on marketing planning and forecasting processes to unlock opportunities and efficiencies. You will support CRM and performance marketing goals and drive large scale analytics projects that will positively impact the entire company. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, you will work closely with peers in marketing, finance and our broader leadership team to ensure that Babylist makes informed data-driven marketing and investment decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting and forecasting for key marketing initiatives
- Partner with key stakeholders in performance marketing, finance, and data to plan and forecast spend and KPI growth
- Develop and own roadmap for all marketing data and analytics needs, inclusive of strategic initiatives and tactical needs
- Own day-to-day performance analysis & strategic recommendations for media spend and optimizationsÂ
- Monitor and proactively troubleshoot any issues across the marketing funnel & provide data-backed recommendations that help solve
- Develop insights for performance marketing, product, and CRM
- Coach, develop, and train team members on best practices
Professional Qualifications:
- Deep experience in strategic planning for marketing optimization, and integrating optimization plans into financial planning and forecasting
- 4+ years of leadership experience, building and managing teams
- Must have start up company experienceÂ
- Must have deep knowledge of data collection systems and technology: Google Analytics, AdWords, Ad Servers, marketing automation tools
- Ability to design reports and reporting schedules to provide needed recommendations, insights, and data
- Experience at companies with $XXM annual performance marketing budgets
- An understanding of financial planning and forecasting, previous experience partnering with financeÂ
- Understanding of media mix modeling, last-click, and multi-touch attributionÂ
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- CRM, Brand survey, and user experience research skills are strongly preferred but not required

Babylist offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Exact starting pay will be determined based on skills and experience. We hold two compensation reviews annually to review pay for performance and market and run an equity analysis to ensure our pay practices are fair and unbiased.
A reasonable estimate for the current role is:
$161,000.00 - $235,000.00
This range may be modified in the future.In addition to the base compensation listed above, we offer a number of other benefits as part of your total compensation at Babylist, such as:
