Role Description & Mission:
Agero’s marketing department is growing and needs a Marketing Strategy manager to add analytical and strategic thinking to our client engagement muscle.Â
The Marketing Strategy manager will report directly to the CMO assisting with the most important growth campaigns for the company. You will work across functions bringing products and services to our client engagement and sales teams working on acquisition, renewals and nurture campaigns within the complex but exciting B2B2C driver assistance industry, serving many verticals from insurance to automotive to retail. Â
You will lead the team’s efforts in business intelligence working with our vendors to create insightful market research as well as working with our internal data science teams running your own analyses of our significant customer data. Â
Projects in the immediate horizon include our (1) our agent engagement initiative aimed at changing perceptions about our programs amongst the stakeholders that influencers to end- consumer usage, (2) our investigation of improving SEO and digital automation with our partners, and (3) the measurement and communication of our value story with all clients and stakeholders. Â
This is an exciting time for our business as increasing tech - with new entrants from Insurtech providers and from auto manufacturers as we transition to Electric Vehicles - is disrupting traditional buying and usage behavior.Â
Key Outcomes:- Analysis, insight generation, and communication roadshow of our 2023 Benchmark survey currently in field
- Development of a nurture / usage campaign for our agent engagement initiativeÂ
- Development of client ready digital tool and automation materials to help our clients partner with us to simplify the user experience for consumers
- Ad hoc market research studies such as better understanding the next generation of EV vehicle users (e.g. when Gen Z buys their first EV or The EV pick-up truck audience!)
What You'll Do:
- Manage the design and collection of market research including research design, vendor management, analysis, and communications
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and strategies supporting various products and services
- Measure the success of your campaigns, and confidently present the findings and developments to team leaders
- Become an advocate for our brand and clearly articulate our value proposition for each client segment
- Build a strong rapport with our Sales and Client Services teams, among others, and create tailored campaigns supporting acquisitions, renewals, upsell and cross sell opportunities, as well as at-risk relationships
- Manage a library of up-to-date client materials including presentations, one pagers, customer success stories, etc.
- Analyze our existing customer databases for insights into program value
- Strong passion for serving and understanding clients and their customers, especially the insurance and automotive industries
- Interpersonal skills to help nurture new and existing client relationships and often lead integration efforts cross-functionally across the organization
- Excellent creative marketing and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analysis skills; ability to understand and communicate market research
- Curiosity and analytical skills to mine client data for insightsÂ
- Marketing economic know-how to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
- Strategic thinking that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create stronger brand affinity, and improve the client experience
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in marketing or client services
- Previous Strategy Consulting experience is a plus
- Proven experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
- Ability to create clear, compelling slides and a natural storyteller
- Familiarity with B2B or B2B2C marketing, especially consumer / buyer journeysÂ
