Databricks is hiring a Senior Manager, Marketing Systems & Technology to bridge the gap between our goals and technical capabilities and to provide integrated solutions that tackle real world issues. In this management role, you will provide and drive strategic solutions within marketing automation & operations in areas such as demand generation, events, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and campaign management.

You'll be a key driver in the analysis and delivery of major software implementations and features. Your work will involve working with cross-functional leaders to understand our challenges and design solutions that ensure business operations. You will lead a team which will define and drive the capabilities that a software solution must perform to support the our goals.

The impact you will have:

  • Partner with global teams to evolve the marketing stack & processes by building partnership and driving collaboration across technical and functional team members
  • Build and integrate custom apps & third-party vendors into Databricks' ecosystem as needed, aligning to GDPR policies and security compliance.
  • Work with multiple teams (Champions, architects, engineers and testers) to design scalable solutions that meet our needs
  • Translate detailed functional designs into User stories and present solution design at the technical review forum and obtain design approval.
  • Champion value realization of our existing investments in Martech space through learning and promoting the best in class solutions and features.
  • Monitor data quality, data migration, and data integration, including data accuracy and completeness across marketing systems.
  • Support training of marketing software and user adoption, provide technical support, diagnosing and resolving problems
  • Lead a team through developing existing members and closing talent gaps where needed through acquisition of new team members.

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of experience working in Operations (Sales, Marketing, CS) or Marketing
  • 2+ years of hands on management experience, balancing tactical execution and strategic vision
  • Project management experience with proven ability to execute large projects according to scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience growing and scaling a top-notch team to meet the needs of partners within other departments
  • Strategic partner with other teams, helping them translate requirements into customer-centric experiences
  • Expert in our core marketing technology platforms (SFDC, Marketo, LeanData)
  • Technical background and / or degree
