As a Senior Manager at DigitalOcean you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing. Reporting to the Director of Network Infrastructure Engineering this role will lead and scale the Datacenter Networking team responsible for building modernizing and operating DigitalOcean’s datacenter network infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:- Talent development and performance management; coaching and developing a culture of inclusivity and collaboration
- Work with other technologies to architect next generation network
- Partner with senior technical and business leadership to co-develop multi-year roadmaps for the technology areas across the organization
- Proactively identify and solve challenges that negatively impact team velocity and successful delivery
- Work with the team to streamline and modernize tools used for network equipment lifecycle management
- People First Leader - serve the team by continuously assessing their strength and passions helping them to grow and develop. Provide them with the opportunities and visibility to be their best and help them achieve their goals
- Visionary - experience communicating effectively with peers and leaders create allies and productive relationships nurture collaboration and knowledge transfer communicate with transparency communicate clear organizational goals
- Technologist - a proven background in some or all of: GPU networking IEB implementation and design DC networking NOC Life-cycle management of infrastructure
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in network architecture design and operation at global scale (10+ DC locations)
- Experience working with deployment software like Salt Ansible puppet chef.
- 5+ years’ experience of people talent and performance management; passion to mentor motivate and coach team member

You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
