Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, New Channel Development & Channel Support to join our growing team! You will play a crucial role in expanding our market reach and ensuring operational excellence across various sales channels. You will be pivotal in driving growth through the identification, development, and support of new and existing channels that distribute our telecommunications products and services. In this role, you will focus on:

  • Channel Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and penetrate new sales channels, including partnerships, alliances, and distribution networks
  • Channel Partner Acquisition: Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners that align with the company’s strategic objectives and market positioning
  • Channel Program Management: Design and manage channel programs, including incentives, marketing support, and training initiatives to ensure effective channel performance and compliance with company standards
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, including regular communication, performance reviews, and addressing any issues or concerns
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to channel partners, including resolving operational issues, optimizing processes, and compensation oversite to ensure smooth transactions and partner /customer experiences
  • Compliance: Ensure that proactive processes are in place with planned audits to minimize enterprise risk and drive program continuity and stability
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop metrics and KPIs to track channel partner performance and provide regular reports to senior management on channel effectiveness and ROI
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with MDU strategy team, sales, marketing strategy local marketing, product management, and finance teams to align channel strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution

As a Senior Manager, New Channel Development & Channel Support, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Drive revenue growth through effective channel expansion strategies
  • Enhance market penetration and brand visibility through new channel partnerships
  • Optimize channel performance through structured programs and incentives
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key channel partners
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on program analysis and team goals
  • Ensure operational efficiency and excellence in channel operations
  • Deliver actionable performance insights to senior management
  • Align channel strategies with broader company goals for cohesive execution 

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH YOUR EYE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in channel development, partner management, or business development within the telecommunications industry
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of telecommunications products, services, and market dynamics
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful channel strategies that drive revenue growth
  • Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
