Senior Manager of Change Management

The Senior Manager of Change Management is accountable to prepare employees and customers to adopt the changes in tools, business processes and job roles brought forth by TR's Commercial Systems Program. This program introduces significant change for employees in the form of simplified business processes & standard toolsets, as well as changes for customers in the form of digital self-serve tools, standardized commercial policies and optimization of existing experiences. The Senior Manager of Change Management prepares employees and customers to quickly adopt changes so the benefits of these investments can be fully realized.

The Senior Manager of Change Management will engage stakeholders from across TR to apply a structured process to create a cohesive & holistic strategy to help employees in all affected roles engage, adopt and use these changes effectively in their day-to-day work. Business readiness scope will encompass roles in C2C, CSS, TR Global Centers, Finance, Sales, Retention and other roles identified through discovery work.

The Senior Manager of Change Management will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology as well as job roles and organization structures. The primary function of the role is to create and implement change strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and minimize resistance, driving adoption and proficiency of the change within the organization.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as Senior Manager of Change Management, you will:

  • Lead organizational change management efforts across a large initiative or multiple initiatives of varying complexity using a structured methodology
  • Create and implement change management approach and plans, leveraging industry standard methodology to ensure successful planning and delivery
  • Lead change management activities with cross functional team members and stakeholders to understand, manage and reinforce change throughout transformation life-cycle
  • Lead stakeholder analysis and management plans
  • Complete change impact and readiness assessments
  • Identify, and manage anticipated resistance
  • Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers (sponsor roadmap, stakeholder management plan, communications plan, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan)
  • Work with and influence individuals at all levels of the organization to drive change; support and engage senior leaders, coach managers, supervisors and project teams, evaluate and ensure stakeholder readiness
  • Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure change activities are aligned with transformation objectives, delivered on time, and meet or exceed expectations
  • Support communication efforts, including development of sponsor presentations and change discussion guides
  • Support training efforts
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project management to incorporate change management plans into overall project plan
  • Maintain a solid understanding of organizational change management, incorporating best practices as they emerge
  • Providing direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transition
  • Supporting project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
  • Partnering with project management, communications, human resources, and impacted stakeholders to create impactful communications to a variety of stakeholders and ensure buy-in and adoption of the change

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Senior Manager of Change Management if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required
  • 7+ years experience leading change initiatives required with a solid understanding of how people react to change and the change process
  • Ability to match working hours of US-based stakeholders
  • Experience with planning and building change management approach and plans
  • Experience leading and indirectly managing cross functional team members and stakeholders in complex organizational change activities
  • Experience applying change management principles, methodologies and tools to transformations; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model is a plus
  • Change management certification or designation desired; Prosci Certification a plus
  • Strong leadership/influencing/relationship management skills; ability to align interests across the enterprise and drive collaboration among groups
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders, using verbal and written communications
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities/projects in a dynamic environment; strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning and tactics; self-directed and proactive
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
