We are looking for a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Engagement to join our US Vision Care team in Fort Worth, TX. As a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Engagement, you are responsible for identifying areas for optimization and the overall strategy behind the omnichannel experience to ensure the consumer and professional customers of Vision Care enjoy an integrated, seamless, and value-adding experience with Alcon. This Senior Manager will be responsible for all digital activities, from strategy to creative management to performance testing and analytics/reporting, including websites, journeys, and emails.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performing as the strategy lead to drive brand segmentation, customer journey planning, and triggered campaign mapping
  • Acting as the day-to-day primary contact for brand teams related to ongoing management and optimization of websites, digital media, and email
  • Ensuring creative is developed, reviewed, approved, and delivered on-time
  • Liaison with cross functional partners to ensure technical delivery of brand requirements
  • Creating and delivering on the overall email editorial calendar
  • Driving optimization of digital touchpoints to enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and leverage opportunities to direct brand priorities
  • Mapping core audiences to active journeys to ensure efficient, long-term relationships with Alcon
  • Updating existing email campaigns as needed for continued optimization as well leading the design and buildout of new emails for new priorities and evolving customer needs
  • Partnering with Brand leaders of key brands to define the strategy and executional plans that enable a more valuable customer experience through all digital touchpoints
  • Mapping customer segmentation to improve targeting and better engage customers at key moments of receptivity, particularly at the point of purchase
  • Driving efforts related to optimization of consumer and customer journeys
  • Testing focused on continuously improving digital critical metrics
  • Seeking out and interpret key trends in websites, digital journeys, cloud communications and email marketing, driving vita focus and innovation for business growth
  • Developing relationships with key external leaders with vision, customers, and suppliers to ensure digital programs are supporting all collaborators
  • Working across multiple marketing automation platforms as needed
  • Implementing campaign performance targets, using data to communicate results, and recommending areas of optimization

What you'll bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs.; Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience

Work hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Travel Requirements: Less than 10%

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or Business or MBA preferred
  • Extensive experience in email marketing programs
  • Ability to prioritize customer needs with a customer-first approach
  • Proven experience in interpreting and using digital marketing analytics
  • Proven experience working with enterprise-level email deployment and optimization tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Pardot, Campaign Monitor, Adobe Marketo
  • Ability to build effective internal and external relationships and influencing change
  • Strong business and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience developing insights leading to understanding of customer and consumer behavior
  • Both B2B and B2C experience preferred
  • Ability to report on critical metrics, marketing performance, user behavior, marketing tests, etc. and make effective recommendations
  • Capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative skills and experience designing layouts for optimal performance a plus
  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Camtasia a plus
