Senior Manager of Performance Testing

Labcorp, a leading global life sciences company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Performance Testing to lead our performance testing team. Labcorp specializes in diagnostics, drug development, and technology-enabled solutions to improve health and improve lives. As a Senior Manager of Performance Testing, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our systems can handle the expected load and perform optimally under stress. We are looking for a passionate professional with excellent leadership skills who can collaborate effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of performance testers, overseeing their daily activities and fostering their professional growth.
• Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans and strategies for various software applications and systems.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other IT teams to identify performance bottlenecks and resolve issues.
• Analyze performance test results, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for performance optimization.
• Effectively communicate performance test results and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Establish and maintain performance testing standards, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Manage performance testing projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest performance testing tools, trends, and technologies to enhance testing capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in performance testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in performance testing tools, such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address performance issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management skills to effectively manage testing projects.
