Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Operations professional to develop, evolve and manage high volume, and corporate recruiting operations across the Americas (Canada to Brazil). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruiting processes, as well as technical experience utilizing data, analytics, and technology to enhance the recruiting process and improve overall pipeline building and management. The Talent Acquisition Operations professional sees the world through people, processes, and technology to continue innovating our hiring practices through our technology, job boards and recruiting partnerships. Further, the role will be a key player in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs) for the team, guiding talent acquisition strategy, execution, and accountability through data-driven recommendations and policy development. It is expected that this person will increase efficiency and drive transparency, accountability, and insights across the Talent team and the recruiting operation at-large.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition, Recruiters, Branding & Recruitment Marketing Manager, the Recruiting Programs Manager and other stakeholders in the implementation and management of key talent acquisition initiatives. They will also collaborate with their counterparts in Europe and Japan on various recruitment efforts. This position will manage 2 managers and 5 analysts and will grow as we expand the team. This position will report to the Director of the Talent Acquisition Americas.

Job Functions:

What This Role Will Be Doing:

  • Applicant Flow Management and Optimization
  • Drive and manage applicant flow through vendor optimization and CRM/ATS process and usage
  • Talent Acquisition Technology
  • Identify and bring forth ATS and CRM system issues and optimization ideas to GPS team
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Pilot new technologies and provide recommendations that improve the overall experience
  • Programmatic Advertising Management
  • Vendor Management
  • Regular vendor relationship meetings, SLA monitoring & ROI reporting
  • Management of vendor enhancements, including associated end-user training and systems access approvals
  • Review and assess new vendor offerings and present to team the opportunities that would enhance/improve and make the recruiting process more efficient
  • Data, Analytics & Research, Benchmarking
  • Support recruiting efforts by providing insights that build solid recruiting strategies
  • Benchmark Nissan Americas recruiting practices against best practices and talent competition
  • Partner with HR analytics team on dashboard creation and reporting cadence
  • Process and Policy Compliance and Enhancements

    • Partner with legal team to ensure compliance in recruiting process across states and countries
    • Ensure Talent Acquisition process documents are up to date

  • Onboarding (future)

    • Support overall onboarding program
    • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure content and delivery provides high quality experience

  • Perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines with a great deal of coordination with multiple stakeholders
  • Understand recruiting process and best practices in corporate and high-volume settings
  • Possess innovative and proactive problem-solving skills -with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations
  • A self-directed individual with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and who adapts readily and easily to changes in priorities and business conditions
  • Have excellent verbal, written, listening, and influence skills and be able to present facts clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization
  • Possess strong analytical, time-management and organizational skills
  • Candidate must have solid team skills and be able to work efficiently and effective with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Self-driven and able to lead projects and programs with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience, or equivalent, HR or recruiting
  • A minimum 5 years of experience, or equivalent, managing teams
  • Experience managing recruiting vendors to drive applicant flow and holding vendors accountable to statement of work and return on investment
  • Proven track record of managing people, projects and programs
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience with technologies platforms like a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) platform and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or equivalent
