Job Summary 

The Senior Manager of Technology serves as a senior technology leader for Bedrock Mfg.’s most critical business systems.  The candidate must possess strong leadership skills and will oversee all aspects of the development, planning, data governance, application integration, and support or our business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs and governs activities of the internal and external teams assigned to development projects within the business application portfolio.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Establishes standards, strategies, and procedures across the development lifecycle in the areas of system integration and testing.
  • Ensure security and control of all data assets and resources.
  • Collaborate with business leaders in planning of development demand and resources as projects are planned and executed.
  • Participate with senior leadership to establish strategic goals, plans, and objectives.
  • Provide effective communication to business stakeholders and IT resources regarding development and support activities.
  • Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements for all ERP Systems support and maintenance activities.
  • Able to manage internal and external resources for both support and ongoing project development.
  • Provide leadership, activity planning, coordinate project plan development, coordinate, and direct to complete the assigned project team tasks, produce the required deliverables, track and resolve issues, and meet the project timeframe.
  • Drive a coordinated approach to ERP-related business process changes and technical system integration across all related ERP domains, both direct and indirect, to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Ensure ERP design and configuration work are being conducted based on a well-developed solutions architecture and a detailed set of business, functional and technical requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or related field
  • 10+ years of managing other professionals with progressive growth in management and leadership responsibility
  • Experience in roles that demand leadership and management skills, including delegating, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Strong business process implementation and project management experience
  • Deep knowledge of ERP business needs in a high-growth dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience in Microsoft AX/D365
  • Experience in driving operational efficiency and automation leveraging the D365 platform
