The Role
SimplePractice is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Partnerships and Business Development leader to build a network of associations, influencers, private practice consultants and affiliates for the SimplePractice partnerships program. This position will have a focus on recruiting partners with clinician influence in the Health & Wellness space.
Reporting to our Vice President of Marketing, this role will be a strategic thinker and an experienced leader, championing ideas and activations that will set new industry standards. This role will also provide strategic counsel to the Chief Marketing Officer and key members of the executive team to help develop company thought leadership, and manage executive voice and speaking engagements.
Who You Are:
We're seeking an entrepreneurial professional to help build the next iteration of customer acquisition partnerships. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, BD professional with an enthusiasm for scaling partner marketing to grow our network of partners. You will be responsible for identifying and negotiating partnerships with Partners (Associations, Private Practice Consultants, and Health & Wellness Clinician Influencers, B2B affiliate commerce publishers, etc.) to drive new customer growth for SimplePractice. You will also work with internal teams to leverage affiliate/influencer best practices across the organization. Using your deep knowledge of affiliate/partner marketing and a solution-oriented mindset, you will collaborate closely with our wider Marketing team to help bring new clinicians to try SimplePractice.
You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships with partners through understanding their business and their customers and how SimplePractice benefits both. With those one-on-one insights, you are adept at translating them into repeatable/scalable frameworks and processes to recruit, manage and scale partnerships. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You're particularly adept at developing operational efficiencies and processes.
Responsibilities Â
- Deliver and execute a Partnerships BD strategy for SimplePractice to deliver on partner recruitment and customer acquisition goals.
- Research, identify and secure new Marketing Partnership opportunities relevant to business goals.
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing to develop the frameworks and execute new ways of connecting with and onboarding partners
- Develop business cases to drive special deal terms and negotiations with existing partners to efficiently maximize their promotional activities for SimplePractice.
- Generate and present bi-weekly, quarterly, etc. business reviewsÂ
- Collaborate with Marketing sub-groups (Product, Social, Paid, Content, SEO, Creative, etc.), Finance, Customer Success, Data & Analytics, and Product teams to deliver against goals.
Desired Skills & ExperienceÂ
- 5-7+ years in Business Development, Partnership or B2B(2C) customer-facing roles.
- Experience building, recruiting, and scaling partnership programs.
- Highly analytical and data driven
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a proven ability to influence others internally and externally
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Sound business judgment and strong analytical thinking
- Bachelor's degree required
Base Compensation Range
$120,000 - $140,000 annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission and equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
