JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The Senior Manager of People Analytics will serve as a highly visible thought leader and partner with the Director of People Analytics to help drive the transformation of the People Analytics function.
  • The Senior Manager of People Analytics will partner with the HR leaders to deliver insights, action plans, and decision aides using HR Data, thus is expected to have a strong grasp of data storytelling, data visualization, and executive presence.
    • In particular, the successful candidate will have strong understanding of Talent Landscapes, Diversity & Inclusion, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Talent Acquisition
  • The Senior Manager of People Analytics will drive key data projects (e.g., data warehouse / data lake), thus is expected to have a strong understanding of data architecture and project management.
  • The Senior Manager of People Analytics will provide thought leadership on People Analytics best practice, and will co-develop, and co-execute strategy on People Analytics Offerings
    • For example, this employee will be expected to participate in report development, build dashboards in PowerBI (or other BI tools), develop decision aides in PowerPoint, develop and test statistical models / conduct linkage analysis
  • The Senior Manager of People Analytics will communicate with colleagues and leaders at all levels of the organization with the ability to explain complex computations and analyses to leaders that have limited or no experience with data.
  • Works independently, quickly, and efficiently in a hybrid remote / in-office environment with teammates spanning the globe.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and communicate the meaning of measures and metrics
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Good communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to leverage data and analytics to influence decisions
  • Maintains confidentiality; appropriately protects employee personal data
  • Effectively prioritizes workload comprised of both transactional and project-based tasks for self and for teammates

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of working experience in HR Analytics / People Analytics functions
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SPSS, or other data processing languages
  • Experience working with relational and nonrelational databases
  • Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling
  • Experience building advanced statistical models, machine learning models, or other advanced analytics
  • Undergraduate degree in related subject is preferred but not essential; work experience will also be considered
  • EITHER 5+ years of working with Workday HCM Reporting capabilities OR 5+ years working with a variety of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
    • Expertise developing Workday Reports (e.g., Advanced, Matrix), Workday Dashboards, and developing and managing calculated fields -OR-
    • Experience in working with Business Leaders to design and develop business facing data stories, dashboard solutions
  • Experience with leading team members to achieve business objectives using strong leadership philosophies and understanding of team dynamics
  • Experience with leading technical projects using Agile Methodology
