Senior Manager - Platform Offering Innovation Strategy 

The Platform Offering Strategy Team is part of the broader Platforms & Financial Services (P&FS) Pillar. Our team mission is to position Adyen as the clear choice for embedded payments and financial service offerings through value illustration and offering innovation. We will drive revenue at scale through the development of an offering strategy that meets customer needs & pain points in a differentiated way. Team objectives include:

• Enable/simplify strategic selling through product fit guidance & pricing guidance to commercial teams
• Develop enhancement recommendations to the current offering
• Develop offering strategies that meet the next iteration of customer pain points
• Support Adyen’s broader external presence through strategic events, publications, etc.

The Senior Manager - Platform Offering Innovation Strategy will play a critical role in the team’s future. This person will have global responsibility for unlocking net new additions to the existing platform offering.

What you’ll work on:

• Responsible for identifying, sizing and capturing the next products in our platform offering
• Collaborate closely with global teams to ensure a holistic platform offering including existing solutions that can be adapted to meet platform needs
• Drive scale through commercial strategies in partnership with the Vertical and Global Platform Strategy pillar teams
• Be a thought leader and SME on the current platform offering, i.e. payments, embedded financial products, etc.
• In partnership with the Verticals pillar team, leverage knowledge to strategically enable commercial teams to win deals vs. the competition / grow existing customers, e.g. sales motion guidance, selling materials, knowledge share, etc. 
• Be an ambassador of the Platform Offerings Strategy team both internally and externally

Who you are: 

• 8+ years experience of strategy in the payments and/or platforms space
• Commercial experience a plus
• Deep understanding of Saas platforms
• Strategic, outside-of-the-box thinker with ability to identify new opportunities and execute to capture them quickly
• Strong communicator able to challenge the status quo and influence across functions, levels and customers
• Curious / collaborative approach that includes diverse ideas / inputs
