Senior Manager, Platform & Product Enablement

The Sales Performance team exists to build, deliver and measure revenue-generating enablement programs that give our audiences the competence and confidence they need to thrive in their careers. You will report to the Director of Sales Enablement.

The impact you will have:

• Identify learning gaps and patterns in our global salesforce
• Develop training (both live and eLearning) that addresses gaps and ties directly to revenue impact
• Become a subject matter expert on how selling is done at Databricks across the globe
• Curate relationships with senior executives in sales, field engineering, customer success, product development and elsewhere in the business to be able to translate varying expertise into digestible learning content for our sellers
• Become a go-to person within Databricks that is seen as the person that can translate highly complex and technical topics into simple and easily understood explanations and training materials.
• Your efforts will directly impact new hire AE ramp time, new logos closed, productivity and revenue generated

What we look for:

• You have 5+ years of enablement, learning design, sales or consulting experience
• You have a background in sales, technology or learning design; ideally all three
• You have proven success in sales, or in enablement programs that target increasing revenue and upskilling a revenue-oriented sales team
• You have experience developing eLearning content for a global sales audience
• You work in unfamiliar parts of the business, and quickly understand the experience of individuals/roles, identify what matters to them, and garner support
• You are proficient at simplifying the complex, and are a highly adaptive listener
• You have experience with sales methodologies (Challenger, Command of the Message, MEDDPICC)
• You have experience with learning design principles and methodologies
• Bachelor's Degree required
