JUUL Labs is seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing. This role is critical in the planning and execution of our pricing and promotion strategy that feeds the US Commercial goals. Work output will be featured at the highest levels of the company with real opportunity to influence business direction. Specific responsibilities for the team include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the development of the annual pricing and promotion strategy for the US and manage its execution
  • Drive selection of the investment states and the promotion plan for each period based on Juul's objectives and competitive action, set goals, and track the performance
  • Engage with the finance team to ensure the Pricing and Promotion strategy aligns and delivers against the financial goals of the company
  • Collaborate within the RGM team to develop the strategy for the general and targeted loyalty programs
  • Assist in building the frontline pricing strategy and its translation into state level MSRPs which includes price increase methodology, timing, structure and budget
  • Develop pricing and promotion plans in alignment with RGM investment strategy for each promotion period
  • Present promotion strategy to the broader Commercial team and get buy-in from the stakeholders (Trade, Finance, Legal, Commercial execution team)
  • Track the promotions spend vs forecast for each period and align with assumptions uploaded in the finance plans, and make adjustments as needed for future promotions
  • Manage and present the RGM AOP process

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good understanding of the nicotine industry and the US market
  • Analytical curiosity, willingness to dive into the data to understand the drivers of our performance at the state and account level
  • Strong presentation and communication skills – sharing insights and pricing plan with the broader Commercial and LT
  • Strong Excel – building pricing and promotion tools
  • Integrative thinker – ability to develop optimal solutions by addressing the issues from the lens of each stakeholder
  • Analytical experience in building pricing models preferred
  • Prior experience in leading cross functional ad-hoc project teams

EDUCATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • Preferred MBA or relevant advanced degrees

SALARY RANGES:
Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.

$140,000—$210,000 USD
Tier 2 Range:
$129,000—$194,000 USD

$121,000—$182,000 USD
Tier 4 Range:
$110,000—$165,000 USD
