Senior Manager, Pricing & Yield
Job Description
1. Optimizing and monetizing Reuters digital services to support the achievement of business targets and goals.
2. Managing, operationalizing, and enforcing ad product and pricing controls.
3. Taking a lead role in ensuring sales force is up to date with process and guidelines in conjunction with Ad Operations, GTM and Sales Management.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Manager, Pricing & Yield you will:
- Own our Yield & Optimization tool (Burt Intelligence). Overseeing the data connections and accuracy of data f or our direct, programmatic, and strategic partnership revenue channels
- Define strategic positioning and pricing f or ad products across Reuters digital services.
- Review commercial deals, from direct sales teams and programmatic to 3rd party vendors and reseller demand revenue.
- Develop and implement best practices/processes to operationalize pricing controls and yield management.
- Partner with product and sales teams to advise and refine the digital ad products.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to produce collateral around product launches and initiatives. Help package our products f or clients.
- Provide commercial requirements to product teams f or ad f formats, strategic partners, direct sales/programmatic partners.
- Develop actionable insights and make recommendations to the internal sales and account management teams on revenue and pricing optimizations.
- Combine data analysis and client feedback to execute and optimize advertising campaigns based on client objectives.
- Develop and implement best practices f or yield management.
- Work with sales and ad operations to maximize yield.
- Leverage data-driven customer insights to influence product evolution.
- Monitor the evolving advertising marketplace and make strategic recommendations to drive innovation and latest developments.
- Provide and monitor reporting on a frequent basis to ensure optimal delivery and performance of campaigns.
- Partner with product, editorial and sales to advise and refine our ad offering.
- Collaborate with marketing and editorial to produce sales collateral around product launches and editorial initiatives/events.
- Play a core role on Consumer management team, influencing direction and strategy.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Manager, Pricing & Yield if you:
- Experience in digital advertising in an ad serving capacity or supply-side platform yield optimization role
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
- Experience modeling multi-variable revenue and pricing scenarios
- Advanced understanding of revenue operations for upselling traffic allocation for publishers
- Deep analytical mindset and experience building demand curve analyses
- An entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the industry and enthusiasm to get the job done
- Strong organizational, process and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

As required by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL) for New York City based roles, the base compensation range for this position is $102,200 - $189,800. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
